INSURANCE, HSA/FSA, EMPLOYER BENEFITS

Until very recently, Doula services were not typically covered or reimbursed by insurance companies and were therefore paid out-of-pocket. Direct payment remains an available option to those for whom this is accesible.

Thanks to the hard work, advocacy, and lobbying at legislative sessions of Doulas and Midwives in various states around the US, some insurance and benefit organizations now cover and/or reimburse Perinatal Doula support.

At this time, I am able to accept Pennsylvania Medicaid and Employer Benefits through Carrot for Doula Services.

HSA/FSA funds can be used for all services.

I will be able to accpet Employer Benefits through Progyny and Mae beginning in 2026.

I cannot accept private insurances at this time, but hope to in the future pending the ongoing progress of Doula credentialling in the United States.

SLIDING SCALE

Sliding scale pricing options are available for all services to trans, queer, LGBTQIA2S+, BI/POC & BI/PGM, and single birthing people; birthing people with disabilities; and financially-eligible* birthing people/families.

*financial eligibility for sliding scale pricing is based on US & Mid-Atlantic regional household income data and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
