DOULA SERVICES

BIRTH DOULA

A birth doula is a non-medical expert explicitly trained in providing physical, emotional, and practical support to birthing people and their families. I offer birth planning, education, advocacy, and labor assistance - such as position changes, comfort measures, and breathing techniques. My full package of services include:

  • 3 or 4 personalized prenatal visits to get to know you and your family so that I can support your needs and desires throughout your experience

  • Birth and Early Parenting Education

  • Birth planning assistance

  • Email and phone availability throughout pregnancy

  • 24/7 on call availability from weeks 37-42 of your pregnancy

  • Continuous labor support

  • 1 postpartum visit, usually within a week or two of your birth

PRE-/INTER- CONCEPTION SUPPORT SERVICES

Growing your family is exciting! It can also be overwhelming. If you're ready to invite a new child into your family or are just thinking about it, I can walk you through options including conception, fertility treatment, adoption, fostering and more to find the best fit for your family. I also offer pre-pregnancy health, reproductive, and parenting education to help you prepare your body, mind, and spirit for the journey.

PRICING

Fees for doula services are charged using a global structure. This means that there is a single price for a tailor-made package of support options, decided upon at our initial consultation.

The starting rate for 3 prenatal visits, continuous labor and delivery support, and 1 postpartum visit is $1,750.

Sliding scale pricing options are available for trans, queer, BI/POC, and single birthing people; birthing people with disabilities; and financially-eligible birthing people/families*.

*financial eligibility for sliding scale pricing is based on US & Mid-Atlantic regional household income data and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
